This used to work for me but I started a new season with Portsmouth & my corners are not going to the proper player on the edge of the area. Instead all my corners go into the box for someone to header but I know that it should be floated to a player on the edge of the area to smash it on the volley. I have two wing backs set at staying back, all my other players are standing at the far post accept my AMC who is set to lurk outside box. I use left footed players for my left sided corners & right footed players for my right sided corners. I have set the team corners to aim for penalty area. I dont know what I am doing wrong but I have played about 7 games & in none of them has my corner been played the way it should be to the man outside the area! Please help as it used to be a very effective source of goals for me! Thanks!
What exactly is happening?
If the opposition keep only one man up one of your "stay back" players will usually go forward and mess up your corner. I would keep one person back and everyone else at back post with one player outside box.
I think I have everything set up properly for the corner "cheat" to work properly as I used it in a different season that I had with a different team but this team doesn't do it! Could you please tell me exactly what to put all the settings to for the corner "cheat" to work? The problem is that my corner takers are not following the instruction & instead the ball is being played into one of my defenders for a header that he always misses whilst the corner should be floated to the edge of the area for my attacking midfielder to have a strike that normally at least tests the keeper!
I really think that there is something wrong because I have played ten games in a row without winning a corner in any of them! There must be something going on! Maybe the game has detectd that I am trying to use the corner cheat so it has stopped me from being awarded corners? lol!
well i tried it last night and had good success with it, i left one fullback on 'stay back' everyone else on 'stand on near post' and the one shooter on 'outside the box'
set corners to penalty area and you should score a few at least using this method. in ten games i have around 5 goals from it!
