The game just seems impossible, no matter what i do it's just totally impossible to go anywhere or win anything.

All i seem to be doing season after season is staring at a lengthy injury list and watching what seems to be entirely random results play out, nothing i do seems to affect the results any way at all.

I've tried every training method possible, almost every tactic, and nothing seems to be working for me.

There are a lot of threads at the top of the Tactics forum which will give you a lot of good advice on how to succeed in the game- have a read there because it is not easy to be successful out of the box but great when it does come good. One thing to remember that teams need time to settle to a tactic and you shouldnt change them unless you have used them for at least 10 -12 games.

I always it really odd when people complain theyve tried every tactic, every training regime and they cant win. Of course you wont win if you change everything so often. You need to decide "OK Im gonna play this way" and stick with it. Look for the right players, you want to play short passes high tempo? Your going to need good technique, passing, decision etc all round. Play direct? Need a tall strong striker. I can honestly say from experience if you get the right players you can suceed in FM 06 with any sensible formation, in fact in over 10 years of CM/FM playing this is the first version Ive been succesful on with a basic 442.
