Had this since May, but never really got into playing it til the other week.
Normally I start off with a lower league team and work up, but this time I started with Liverpool.
The season started off well, coming through the champs league qualy rounds and going 5 matches unbeaten in the league. This was quickly followed by 6 matches without a win
Some tinkering with tactics and training saw me go on a 18 match unbeaten streak, including 13 match winning run!
After this im happily sat 2nd in the league 2 points off Chelsea, quarter finals of both FA and Champs league. Then the agony sets in. Defeats to Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all but end my league hopes. Dissapointment in the league is off put by FA cup and Champs league final places. The opponents, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
With 70 mins gone in the FA cup, Kuyt has put us 1-0 up and with Robben sent off its looking good! Then disaster, the introduction og Joe Cole turns the tie and Chelsea win with a 92nd minute winner
Hot on the trail of FA heartache comes the champs league. Two penalties from Luis Garcia and Peter Crouch help Liverpool to a second successive trophy and 6th in their history.
This has helped me rediscover my love for the game. I'll always love the PC version, but this has shown me the 360 version isnt all that bad!
