hi there,
i am interested in footie manager on the xbox260 but am unsure about it.

can you buy a keyboard and mouse to use with it?

can you download updates, and face packs etc?

how good is the speed of the game?

is there a limit of seasons?

In what way? The only way I can think there is more detail is the ability to play more leagues at the one time

you definitely cannot use a mouse, however I *think* the 360 allows you to connect a USB keyboard.

The PC version has a larger database in my experience, you don't get many Scottish or Brazilian playerrs in the 360 version without selection to run those leagues, while the PC version takes them for granted to a degree, for example from what I can remember.

And the 360 does let you connect a USB keboard, yes, but no mouse I'm afraid, yet at least.

Having played the game on the pc since cm2, I was a bit sceptical about the 360 version. The buttons take a bit of getting used to but once you've mastered where things are it's not too bad and in general it's a good conversion.
My only gripe is the condition of other teams players, for instance, Liverpool had 3 games in 5 days compared to my team's 1 game and yet the Liverpool players still had condition in the high nineties after the third match whereas mine were in the mid eighties.

The database's are exactly the same, the speed of the game is imho very quick (but i am only comparing with my laptop).
So other than the ui the games pretty much identical, same match engine, same database, all the same features. and this is confirmed by SI somewhere on these forums.
Obviously as it is updates and additional graphics arent available. Not sure that buying it now would be worthwhile tho with FM2007 just round the corner, but if ya find it at a good price definately get it.
