FM07 Xbox360 will be a port of the main PC title which is why 'features' for it haven't been splashed around a lot.

There are some significant improvements in the games user interface over last year and a few 360 specific items - expect to hear more about the game in the next few weeks.

yeah i know weve heard it before, but i got a si newsletter that said they were going to release information on 360 version in the next few days

too late though really, i dont think il shell out £40 for it now since im playing the pc version

it shows just how little interest there is on the 360 format because no one posts, and the fact like only same 4 people post all the time

football manager isnt built or appealing to home console players (obviously psp is a exception) people dont buy 360 to play a text based game do they?

me being a big fm fan consiederd buying it on 360 tho

Hello you lot, you all seem to be well up for the 360 version, I haven't got a 360 yet, although seriously thinking about it, 50% because i'd play FM more if it was in my bedroom, 50% I like the look of the racing titles.

I've asked this question before but in the PC section and wasn't dignified with a response!

Will the 360 game be EXACTLY the same as the PC one? ie, conf n/s? all the same leagues can be chosen? the database of players the same size? can you play on for 20 years or so? and what about the FRED problem thats on the PC game, will that show up in the 360 game?

Basically what has the PC game got that the 360 version hasn't, and what does the 360 have that PC doesn't?

If someone could help me out I'll be eternally grateful!!

I would have went for a 360 version if it was released on the same day or at least within a couple of weeks of the pc version with good x-box live support. I heard you can only play one off matches against other people on live. Awful if that's true.

Both games share a code base so they are exactly the same in terms of database and events. The only differences (as far as I know) are:

a) You control the 360 one with a pad and not a mouse
b) No 'network' function as such, just Xbox Live modes which should be improved over last years.
