Yeah, B's back but there's no forward option anymore, I periodically accidentally hit the shoulder buttons to go back and forwards still.
3 days in and I have to honestly say I prefer '06's 'legend' system, once learnt it was simple, the new tabs seem a bit 'fiddly'.
Also, I only find myself using the LB button as I scroll across using the anaolgue stick to options, so the RB button is a bit redundant for me. But the tabs have their uses still certainly, they make viewing player profiles much easier for example as you can have the player screen options there in front of you without having to go through 1-2 screens to get back to the profile page like in FM '06.
The match engine is an issue it has to be said, people complained about the large players in '06, but I much prefer large and viewable than tiny and more confusing which I have to say 07's match engine sprites/ball are.
The pitch isn't a problem for me now as after over a year with console FM's I seem to have just got used to the smaller size, though FM will be one of the first things I'll try out if/when I get a HDTV one day just to see the size increase.
Overall I think this new FM's been another stellar port so far. There's a few issues I have, as mentioned above, but I'm working around them (though an option for larger sprites in matches in a patch would be great

) and still having great fun. Chelsea still under-perform for me and City are as inconsistent as ever, so it's business as usual for the most part.
I'll be sure to try out PAL 50 mode though for the match engine, that's a very good point. There's so many games that require PAL 60 these days, my poor PAL 50 TV's been forced to emulate on a daily basis.
