I've been usually busy recently so apologises if I've missed this as I've not played catch-up totally yet, but I was wondering if it was now possible to put a demo for the new FM up on Marketplace or would there still be the same problems as with FM '06?
We will be making a demo - whether MS allow it to go up on marketplace or not is our of our control unfortunately (we did a demo for FM2006, and it never appeared )

Ive got tones of demos, most recently Test Drive had a hour limit on it, and then you had to restart it. simple
tigar woods has 6 holes on it,well last years one, and i played on that way longer than 15minutes
the demo woulndt be very big either,its not huge graphicaly and with it being a restricted demo, i.e 6months and certain database size and detail, i think it woulnt be as big as many of the games on there
Thanks for the heads-up Miles. Is there an estimate on when the demo will be out, if it makes it past the M$ big wigs? I'm assuming it'll be before the full game's (late Nov., I keep up with the game sites ) current est. release date?
I've never heard about a time limit on demos before, I've definitely played demos for longer than 15 mins before though.
There's no MS imposed 15 min time limit on demos. The second Test Drive one was an hour!
@Miles - Did the unreleased FM06 demo have the Save feature enabled, as I don't think MS allow demos to save - the recent LMA 360 demo was a one-off match so saving was not required.
Might be something worth chatting to MS about if you want the FM07 demo to pass certification. It may be you need to convince them to make an exception or you may need to disable saving in the demo.
Is there any news from The Big M on the demo front yet guys? I've got the PC version and loving the new features so far, but I'm now desperate to see how the 360 version will play out.
i just hope they release some information on the 360 version,never mind about the demo
the game isnt coming out for over a month on the 360 and PSP
so a demo would realiscly come out once theve sent the game away to microsoft and is in production
and that will be a week or two away
Great news on the confirmation of 1st Dec. release chaps, cheers! (I noticed on gameplay they had 1st Dec. down for a week or two now so I was hoping )
I suppose with release just 2 weeks away now, there won't be a demo now then? I'm not too fussed as it's not long to wait now anyway, just never got confirmation on the whole demo situation.
