I decided for a change that I was going to go to Chelsea. On the last day on the first transfer window I signed Fernando Gago from Boca Juniors. The problem is I can't play him. I paid £7 Million for him and he has the letters WP beside his name.

When does he get his work permit?

I thought h would get it a few weeks after joining the club.

Does he get it in the jan window?

Do I have to click on something I have missed?

Can I ever play him? lol

i just asked the same question for the pc foram,, apparently you can still sign him, but you need to loan him out to a spanish or italian team till his reputation icrease his chances of getting a work permit,, , it well confusin i thought if you had got him he was granted a work permit

I've got that problem, got a player in my youth set up from when I started the game, went to renew his contract and his work permit was turned down.

Don't know what to do with him now?

if oyu have a feeder club in anpther country that is eu, then send him over there, i think chelsea have psv, so send him there and if he cant get one after that just do it again, ithats what happens in real life so i guess if they got the realism correct then he should be able to to a feeder club. i think thats why you were able to sign him without gaining a work permit
