Just managed to get it to fail - recorded all my steps
1. Used new game wizard
selected England only - All leagues - next - next
(Setup db processing)
2.Add manager
create profile - enter name - changed dob (7/6/61) - entered name of
fav team - selected team from list - choose England championship southampton
added manager
add another manager no
SAVED GAME OK
Goto team squad page
reallocated B.Biakowski to reserve squad
using A - Right Trigger RT - move to
Squad - Reserves
Promote
K millar
D Belmadi
N Dyer
Set up Training
Y - New - Full Time Schedule
