"Short Term Switch" for non-1st Team Regular Whingers
One of the options you get for responding to a "wants more first team football" whinge is "inform x you will look into the possibility of a short term transfer".
The subsequent media message is invariably "player x is delighted you will give him a short term switch".
Now, call me old-fashioned, but that gives me the impression that you will send him out on loan, a situation with which the player has declared himself happy. If it means a short term transfer to the first team, why doesn't it say as much? Surely it can only mean one of those two things!
Why, then, when you set player x's transfer options to "available for loan" does player x get the right raving hump because he "think he's too good to go on loan"?
Am I missing something here????
