Default Quick couple of questions. feedback would be appreciated.

hope everybody had a good xmas. i did, mainly because my kind and generous girlfriend bought me an Xbox 360. obviously i was straight into Pro Evolution. everything is set up and working lovely. Xbox Live etc.

i've been reading about verious problems with FM online/xbox live

i have fm2007 on my PC and have always played CM/FM.

couple of my friends also have Xboxes, so we are considering buying the game, solely for xbox live.

1. if i wait for the next release fm2008, is it likely certain aspects will have improved, or is it simply something which required each individual to alter internet/router settings etc....

2. is the game actually better on xbox rather than PC?

3. how does xbox live work wen playin other people (not friends). do you have to all be on at a certain time? who decides time/date?

i appreciate the feedback. thanx alot

stick with pro evo

save ur money, and get cod2 (only £17 online!) or GRAW (£15 at hmv) for real good xbox live action, plus u save your money and treat ur misses for the nice gift

as you can see noone is really bothered about the 360 version, its better on pc...its not really a console game to be honest

Da Thief - The online aspect of FM on Xbox 360 is different to the way you play it on PC. As much as we would like to include it, it's not possible to have a continual career game that you can play with your friends on Xbox Live.

What is offered is one-off matches / tournaments that you can create and either select a team, import a team from your saved game or use a "Fantasy Draft" mode where you select players for your team in a drafting system.

lol so u cant even do a normal career game?

u can only play 1 off games? wot the hell?

lol ok thats fair enough i can appreciate its very ahrd to incorporate. dont worry i will always play FM, only now i know to stick to PC. i appreciate the quick response and u have answered my questions.

but for example, r u sayin i can have my own career game then maybe as a bit of 1 off fun i can use my current save game team and just play another random player in a 1 off match?

i guess its a good idea but disappointed it cant be a normal career game. any idea wether its sumthin that can be altered for FM 2008?
