iam not a good manager so i relay on my backroom staff i was wondering if any1 knows what attributes
to look for for all bakrooom staff ty for help.

the tip i will give you is look for staff who specialise in a certain area, Ass. Man has really got to be an all round person, but others look at specialist in each area, thats how you will get the most out of your team

Agree with Big Jimmy G.

I'm managing Halifax Town in the Conference National and have sacked my initial scout and employed 2 new scouts - one specialises in judging ability, the other in judging potential.

This way the "potential" scout is employed to look at young players and the "ability" scout is used to assess forthcoming matches and any players i'm interested in which are approx. 24 and older.

I picked both of them up from the unemployed list (not from an advert as usually only crap people apply at this level) and pay them a wage of £200 per week (they ask for £210 but being a yorkshireman I'm a miser ;-))
