Default How fatal are the bugs in FM2007?

I've bought it for my son as a Xmas present and I'm loathed to give it to him if it's bugged to buggery as many of these posts suggest.

Is everyone experiencing problems? Is anyone happy?

I've played it for 30 odd hours and no probs for me. The match engine works perfectly too.

What a game.

Seems like most people are ok. For the unlucky few that aren't, though, it's bloody annoying. You can still play it, but you have to save after every single game, and just accept the fact that every so often you're going to get the 'Can't save' bug, lose everything you've done since you last save, and more often than not find out that your last save has been corrupted as well.

It's not totally game breaking now I'm getting used to it, but it certainly takes a huge amount of the fun out of it. Every time you win a tough match, you're thinking "will this be the one that doesn't save...". Every time you save, even, you're thinking it.

If I'd have known about it before I bought the game, there is no way that SI would have got my cash. But then again, your son's system might be one of the (majority?) that is absolutely fine.

Put about 3 days into it, not had any problems at all.

Apart from staying up until 4am because it's too addictive

Cheers to all - We went ahead and got it and so far I'm the only one thats played it. Seems Gears of War and PGR3 are more of a draw to my son!

Haha, congrats on the purchase I've had it since launch day and never had this issue. Shame me 360 itself is buggered now! lol

And if it's any concelation Gears Of War is a fairly short game, so you can get him on FM in no time!
