I think the ability to scout for wonderkid could be restricted to clubs whom have 2 world class scouts and world class youth facilities maybe??
i think any team should beable to searh for someone, its upto the player if he decides he wants to go or not. it would help havin good scouting knowledge to help find more wonderkids etc
talking of Scouting Knowledge. One thing you can do to get an achievement is to raise the scouting knowledge of your club to 75%. As SI and all developers are limited with their description for achievements this one is incredibly vague - does it mean you the manager have to get 75% or you can achieve it through sending your scouts on missions and you can help out by looking at other teams?
Don't have a clue how this is meant to work and what 75% is - 75% of what? How do you check what % you are currentlty on? I certainly don't play the game for gamer points there are loads of other games which give them away for relatively no effort compared to FM2007 but i do like to try and get the achievements.
when in team screen, go to the tabs at the top, go to search, then knowledge and you will see what you are on, and to improve it, assign scouts to wherever possible to increase the knowledge
Cheers Jimmy G, having actually thought to go looking for it, I found it last night! However as i have 100% for England, 95% for Scotland and currently on the way to about 80% of Wales, 50% for italian and with around 10% each for N. Ireland and the Republic yet only 4% worldwide I don't think I'm making the 75% knowledge any time soon as a manager of a conference side!
