I know there's quite a few of these messages about, but I can't find a thread with an answer and I'm in desperation.
The save issue in FM 2007 is driving me crazy! I have to get my money back tomorrow if I am to bring it back, so on that note... Does anyonw know when an XBL update will be released? I just need to know if and (if possible) when this issue will be resolved.

To be clear, my game just flashes up saying "The game could not be saved" (or something to that effect) after I attempt to save. I also can't load games either, or even when I start a NEW game, it refuses to save. I have tried everything, even deleting FM2007 saves from my HD and restarting. Still no luck.

Please reply, ALL HELP APPRECIATED!

when you create an original save of the game, rotate the left thumbstick around in circles, then this should do the trick. once done it doesnt need rotating anymore, annoying but great if you are only doing one career

It seems to work, but when loading, the old message comes up.

hmmm.... have u tried going back to dashboard and reloading the game, ive found this has worked, the message has only popped up on a couple of occasions, so i aint sure if this is the correct way of doing it.

I've always stuck with SI through thick and thin, after the Eidos split and I never cared for LMA... But this is a disgrace. Thanks for a response, I appreciate it, but I returned the game just before the warrenty was up, got a credit note. I'll either get the game later *if* there is a patch released in the future, or perhaps get it on my PC, but these save issues in this and FM06 on the 360 have really put me off buying SI games.
