A challenge to sigames - prove you give a **** about this game
So far we have had lots of questions, quite a few problems and nothing has been done or said. Ter will post here and there but not give us any information, isn't his 'department' but credit to him for showing his face. Even Marc Vaughan has made a single post to say he hasn't got a clue about anything and then he tried to pass the buck to Microsoft. If you want to prove to your users and loyal customers that you care about this platform and providing support for it then you can do two things:
(1) At least update this section and change everything from 2006 to 2007. The fact that no-one has even been bothered to do that sums up the situation, doesn't it?
(2) Get someone who was involved with the 360 version to park their arse over here and be held accountable in terms of answering any questions we have.
The challenge is set. Over to you.

You are right, no game is perfect. But when one of the essential functions like saving your game doesn't work, that is frustrating. Even more when there hasn't been released any real news about a patch or something.
The only things that has been said is that they are working on it and that it is difficult to release patches on the Xbox-platform because of certification-issues.
But be honest, these are not that strong comments... We are talking about a very important bug which is known for almost 2 months now. And there are other Xbox-games which were able to release much sooner some patches.
Until now we still don't know if they found a sollution and when a patch will be released. We don't even know if a patch will be released or that we'll have to wait for FM 2008...
I don't say they are doing nothing about it, but a bit more real info would be nice.

i know where your coming from real_jd, but what you have to realise it isnt a bug that has affected everybody, only a few, and those are strong comments, you got to remember how long did it take COD2 to realease its patch. I am behind SI and you just got to take it with a pinch of salt. They say they are workin on it so i trust them. they are probably workin on FM2008 as we speak aswell, so for a small team to work on 2 games at once must be hard

So are we supposed to feel sorry for them? Bullshit! The only thing we are asking for are some REAL news! Let us know if they have recreated the probem or if they have already fixed it but the waiting lies in the certification process or whatever the hell is going on. " We are working on it" doesn´t really say anything. So if SI could come out and explain where they are in the process, they would please me and probably the others who are having this problem.

Uhm, is it that clear I'm from the Netherlands? :-) Well, my English is like FM on the Xbox, a little bit buggy :-)...
But don't understand me wrong, I'm a fan of the people behind SI-games since the start of the first Cm-series and I bought almost all of them. Of course there were some versions during the years which weren't perfect or had some trouble, but we're talking here about a serious bug which takes a bit too long to be solved (or to hear some news of).
Sigames always had a strong connection with their community and especially for that reason I think it's strange we don't get any news.
Also I think that the stories on this forum won't do any good to the sales of FM on the Xbox. Therefore it would be better if they gave some news or do a customer-friendly action.
It could be a nice sollution if they say for example "Well, if it doesn't work, send us your FM 2007 game within 2 weeks of purchase with the receipt and you'll get FM 2008 for free".
If only a few people have this problem, this wouldn't be an expensive sollution I think?

It's a fair point this is only their second release on X360, but I never had one problem with FM06. This year, nothing but problems, I asked SI for help... nothing!

there not bothered about the game, well they are,but jsut to a certain level...i.e not much, just half arsed
i wrote a thread a while ago, very similar to this, i thought it would maybe raise awarness about the platform, but it hasnt, and noone on si has done much since
dont even wait on a patch.,...its not coming, and if it does, well lets say id be more than supirsed, if there no closer to fixing it 2months after release, they i doubt much else is going to happen
prove me wrong si, i really want you too
ur support for the pc is great, and i love fm2007 pc, but get your finger out for this platform,it could be so much better
it should take a differnt direction than the pc, just like the psp did, give a reason for people to buy it, lets face it, if youve got the pc version, why buy the 360 version? but if you love the pc version, you want them also to buy the other platforms, such as psp and 360 because they are must have games....only if you give them a reason and vary it on each platform, new modes, differnt features
