Somewhere else on these boards I'd said forget the achievements and enjoy the game. Well I know appreciate just how hollow that advice was as yesterday after a whole 2 days of gameplay i finally went the full season in the Conference without defeat, conceeding the least by 3 goals and scoring the most by about 7 or 8.

Did I get my achievement for undefeated season? DID I F***. Did i get the achievement for most team goals in the league? DID I F***. Did i get my achievement for least goals conceeded? DID I F***

Oh well I did get manager of the year and top individual goalscorer but that's scant consolation for investing 48 hours of my life in to the game and tbh i don't think i'm playing this again until it gets patched. I don't play games solely for gamerpoints -check out my gamerscore to testify that, however i do like the achievements as they are a challenge to attain.

I feel ripped off and if the game isn't patched soon to rectify the achievements issue and the save game then FM2007 will simply become trade fodder. I'll look back with tainted fondness at the time we shared together but we shan't be sharing any more!

what kind of trophies have you guys been winning because the ones in the lesser leagues don't really have an effect on getting into the hall of fame.

I went undefeated in the Conference and won the FA Trophy.

You get sod all for winning the FA Trophy which i was well aware of.

I got 5 GP for being promoted, 10 for Manager of the year and 10 or 15 for having leading goalscorer.

I missed out on 50 for being undefeated - description merely states go undefeated for the whole season in league games only - and missed out on 10 or 15 each for least goals conceeded and most goals scored in the league. Not really fussed about these last two, it's the undefeated one i was really gunning for

Yeah, the Hall of Fame doesn't work on my version either... I really don't care about the achievements that's the least of my concern, I mean, who buys a game just to get their gamer ponts up? Personally I buy video games to play them and have fun which I do. Congrats on another great game FM!

The hall of fame is a little annoying and I'd be happy if a patch was realeased as well as the team history fixed.
I won 2 french leagues, 2 french cup and 1 Champions League... should be enough to make the french hall of fame by far, yet I'm not in it.
Also I won the french cup in 2007 and 2008 but when I won the 2008 french cup the 2007 one disapeared from the History-Competitions page of my team. Anybody else experienced that?

Is the patch you guys are working on gonna fix the history as well?

I am on season 5 and have recently made England Wc Champs. I am in the hall of fame but I didnt get the achivement either.

Dont hold your breath lads for a patch because by the time they get round the certification issues for sending the patch through xbox live FM 08 will be here. Personnaly i traded my fm08 console version the guy taht worked at game said he had a lot of FM07 been traded infor the same reason.

Anyway got the pc version there has been a patch for the bugs and you can at least enjoy the game. On the 360 it was hard to play the game when you kept noticing the bugs all the time spoiled what is a great game.
