Just wondering if anybody can help me with the tactics.I have used the tactics from the tactics forum but I think they are for the pc as none seem to work. I know you have to keep the same tactic, which is what i have been doing. I started as middlesborough yesterday using 5,3,2 which I got from the forum. I was top of the league after 15 games but then I just started to lose evry match even though I didn't chage anything. Can anybody help with the team instructions and player instructions? I think this is where I may be going wrong! Thanks
hey carl, great to see someone else using boro, if you check thru some of the threads here you will see some info on tactics and other stuff, i have used boro on FM07 and if you need help i am more than willing to help
Hi Jimmy, I have been tried using different teams and different tactics. I tried the 5,3,2, with boro and did quite well until I started to lose ever game. What tactic do you use? All the ones in the tactics forum seem to be for the pc! Have you had any success with boro?
im using a simple 442 formation, very attacking. MLC moves into AMC and MRC moves into DMC, short passing with quick tempo, wide play and defensive line pushing up, thats the main stuff but there are other elements to my team which if you would like to know more add me on live, Big Jimmy G
Carl you may need to slightly tweak your tactic otherwise opposition teams suss out the way you play and negate it, hence why you start losing. The best idea is to stick with one formation throughout the season and have slight tactical variations (i.e adjust passing, tempo, width, defensive line etc)
yeah like if playing a team which likes time on the ball hae your players hassling them, if they play 3 CM's and are narrow focus ur passing down the flanks etc etc i agree that tweaking every now and again keeps ur team fresh but going the Ranieri way and tweaing too much is destructive so be careful
