I'm going for the English promotion challenge and I just want to know a few things before I venture out onto this mammoth task.

1) Do I have to use a Conference North / South side or can it be Conference National?

2) Can anybody help me with a little step by step guide to doing it, I mean obviously starting out with a non-league side full of part-timers with the aim of them becoming the next Chelsea sounds impossible to me. How can one make money, if there's no money there to begin with?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

2. Visit the Challenges forum and check out dafuges challenge - I think this is the one you mean
3. If you start in the Nationwide South then go for Welling Utd
