Seeing as the PC and MAC guys can now enjoy the 7.0.2. it's only fair that someone has the courtesy to confirm that we xbox owners won't be getting a patch. Because we won't be, will we.

I'd prefer to be put out of my misery to hanging onto the slimmest of hopes that you can deliver.

I'm not complaining, I just want some transparency, which I think £50 and all the other years of supporting you guys has entitled me to.

I'm sure many others agree.

Please explain! Why is it still out of your hands to release a patch for the same issue that has ruined two consecutive games without a patch!

Just out of curiousity SneakyGoblin what is this issue? I have played the two 360 games and have never had any serious problems. Though I must admit the absence of Roy Keane from Sunderland, and the entire game world, in this version has me baffled

I suspect it is out of SI's hands due to Microsofts incredibly strict rules on all XBL downloads. This is the same reason that XBLA Worms has been delayed so many times.

My guess is that a 360 patch has been done but for one reason or another, it hasn't passed Microsoft certification, or is currently going through the certification process, which is rather lengthy by all accounts.

Two key words in your post sum the entire situation up.

SUSPECT & GUESS

All it would take is someone official to either state:

(1) There will be no patch
(2) We have a patch but it is going through Microsoft certification
(3) We cannot have a patch because Microsoft will not certify it

It's that simple but the silence continues.

I just know we are going to be disappointed
