I'm highly ****ed off now. I was in my 4th season with Wigan Athletic, we had a transfer budget of £90m with a wallet the size of Abramovich, and I had a squad that would rival that of Barcelona's. I had Cassilas, Puyol, Ashley Cole, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Villa, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard to name but a few. Anyway earlier today I save my game to go out, but while the game is saving, I decided I needed to take a toilet break. When I came back, I double checked my fixtures, and turned my XBOX 360 off.

When I got back, I loaded up my game and to my horror, I got the message "The save game could not be loaded".

To say the least, I am HIGHLY ****ed off. Sports Interactive, you need to sort this out, and you need to sort it out now because I have had enough of it. I've spent £50 of my hard earned cash on this, and spent another lot of money to buy a hard drive because the saves are too big to fit on a memory card. Now don't give me any crap about having to press my analogue button to make sure it saved properly, because it had saved for TEN WHOLE MINUTES before I turned my XBOX off.

SI, you have just lost ANOTHER fan.

This isn't just the case with one particular save file either, it's like that with ALL of them. I have 8 saves and NOT ONE will load.

While I am annoyed with SI, I find it very hard to believe that you had that amount of money and those players in four seasons with Wigan by playing the game fairly...

Scary to hear that none of your save files load. I back up all my saves but it sounds like it might be useless.

That is worrying - I do back up saves as well, so far haven't had a problem tbh

The other 7 savegames, did you try loading them after a reboot of your console? If not, could you try and let me know what happens please.

Believe what you want. Yes I did try reloading them after a console reboot and the same thing happens. My game saves are definitely FUBAR.

Thank you scott for posting in the xbox forums (no sarcasm), i seriously get happy shivers everytime i see that si logo on the left side of the screen.

Again, i said it once already, but not good news to hear that even back up saves could also get corrupted all at once. Could their be a correlation between how many saves you have and corrupt saves? i have about 9 saves so maybe i should scale back.

i had this happen before and then i took my disk out and inspected it only to find my xbox had created three massive fukin rings of saturn on my disk.
apparently on some x boxes if they are standing up this can happen.
also i have had save game corrupt thing happen with the new disk i brought. (no rings this time after xbox laid flat) and all i did was run the disk under the tap wipe it dry and then save game worked. try it.
with me it was just my disk needed replacing or cleaning.
