Im looking to sign a striker to slot into my Liverpool place, to replace the useless Carlos Tevez, looking for a quick finisher who can play off of Crouch, budget upto about 17m max but i wanna get it right this time. Did retry to sign Owen but he opted for the lure of Barca

Go look in the good players guide forum.

I'd personally recommend Gonzalo Higuain since he is young, becomes awesome and isn't that expensive.

Kalou would be a pretty good buy if you can get him for low enough or Bojinov

Yeah Bojinov was crazy good in the CM 03/04 version. I forgot to look at him in this one, how good is he?

he was £12.75m - im Liverpool and could not offer coz he is a co-owned player, damn i hate those FA restrictions!! at least it mirrors Liverpool's struggle to get the green light on Mascherano's transfer i spose.... cheers nickyh will check out Vela when i get home, after i posted i signed Ronaldo for £775k as short term stopgap but hes struggling to adapt and not pulling in the results... my budget has now increased to 26m now though
