Ive just started a new game as england manager and it wont let me remove any of the national team players saying ' player x cannot be removed from the england squad at the current time'

help needed?

Try waiting until the game asks you to select a squad. I used England with no problems.

From memory you can only remove from the squad when you are not playing a match imminently
