Im fairly new to the game and i bought Ratinho, a brazilian right back, but it said he needed a work permit. Now the season has begun and he still doesnt have one and is becoming unsettled, how do i get his work permit sorted?
if he has had a few caps for brazil u21's offer im a new contract, but if not you will need a feeder club in europe where work permits are not needed eg spain poland or belgium. but tbh ratinho isnt that great, his stats aint bad but his performances for me were shocking
I also signed ratinho but it was a few years after I started the game, so he was in the under-21 squad, he was rejected a permit initially but granted it a few weeks later... pretty good player but nothing too special. Ive got a bug on my game with him as well, every month or so I apparantley praise him for his good performances (even though I dont).. and after a while he responds saying he is bemused bcos he doesnt think he's being playing well enough.. but thats the the point of this matter so whatever..
However I still have a problem with the permits, i signed a young argentinian called abel flotta, looks lke he has great potential but he carnt play because he doesnt have a permit.. even though hes been with me for a year or so, and also loaned out to one of my feeder clubs for a season.. can someone tell me how I can change this? He looks f-kin quality if given the right training & progression but i cnt do toss all with him.. it also happened with something Mokeana.. ive forgotten his first name... he's african, about 23 when I signed him but probably about 19 at the start of the game.. i signed him but he couldnt get a permit to play so wasted in the reserves, even though I sent him to a dutch (or belgium ins) feeder club for a year.. still he couldnt play for me, then blackburn came in for a £4.4m offer so I let him go as he was useless.. as soon as he goes there he's in the first team playing week in week out.. wtf??
sometimes u have to offer him a new contract, thats when new work permits are dished out, also if u wanted to be completely sure u wud have send him to a feeder club for 3 or more years to gain the nationality
sometimes with south american players (especially chileans, dont know why)if you send them to a spanish affilaite they become spanish citizens faster than if you send them anywhere else and ratinho is worth it
