for people who think scouts are always right, well they are not after the first season i scouted gareth bale and my scout who has 20 judging ability and potential said he we not be worth signing but i signed him anyway and he is now a wonderkid and scored about 15 goals and set up over 20 goals in all competitions

I bought him for £1.2 Mil, Media speculation about Blackburn making a bid for him and my assistant in his opionin said he has no future at the club. Yet in the training section he says keep hold of him at any cost.

But I do agree that the scouts are not that good, just handy so you see the players stats.

Scouts are not right or wrong, there's a bunch of things to be discussed about the scouting, the main issue being that scouts compare potential signings to your best player at a given position so if you already have Henry as a striker for instance your scout will tell you that Drogba, Rooney, Eto'o... are not worth signing.
