I've let my assitant manager take training and i am top of the league (with Liverpool), but my players don't seem to be improving, the monthly report shows only about four or five players made a slight improvement. How do i get them to make a big improvement.
you are normally notified by your assistant manager hwne a player is making a big improvement, and thats not with the monthly report, dont get me wrong i know that we like to have our players improve, but as long as your getting the right results on the pitch (your top of the league) then your doing something right aren't you?
Yeah guess you're right. Also could you tell me what happens if you don't spend the transfer budget, in that season does it get carried over into the next season or do you lose it. Thanks.
hmm... not too quite sure, i tend to use my budget, but depends on how you spent it really, i guess most of it will carry over, but also depends on how much you have left in the bank, that is the biggest factor

Tommy, when i started i didnt really bother looking at the training side of things and i let the assman look after it, but after really concentrating on it (i.e. handling it myself) i'd say its really worthwhile you setting it up manually.
The main reason? The assman is useless....
Getting the most out of coaches and schedules can make a massive difference to player attributes and can help you mould the team around your style. Think about the skills your team's different positions need to develop amd create schedules to suit, and recruit and match coaches strengths to the relevant disciplines.
For example, a target man needs to work on different skills compared to the winger that puts the crosses into the box...
for transfer budget's and balance's, at least they've toned down the amount they paid out to shareholders. on previous versions ud get to the end of the season with a nice transfer kitty saved up for summer transfer window, only to have it dished out to your club's fatcat's. well, theyv gotta have bubbly at the shareholders meeting heh
it only takes approx 30 minutes of ur gametime to allocate each group of players you want banded together, and from then on its easily maintained, so long as u remember to add in your new signings and promoted youth kiddies!

disregarding your transfer budget completely come the end of the season the board rake all the money (or no money) into the clubs finances and from that the board allocate you a transfer budget.
this can depend on three things
How rich or bankrupt the clubs finances are
How stingy the board members are
How ambitous (expectatious) the board are
