i was Arsenal on an unbeaten run in my first season, however when I wrote the name of my save game into the xbox, the screen froze. Any ideas on how to help, it has happend 6 times.
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it, it happened to me as well and to a bunch of people on this forum...
I'd suggest you keep several saves, that's what most of us do to try to avoid this but it still happens.
SI just realesd a statement the other day saying that all bugs where fixed but this one and that they're working on it to get it to us asap. Keep your fingers crossed.
this could well be due to xbox guide and not the game, ive had it happen to me where on other games when the guide needed to open but the game crashed when doing so, yes i understand your frustration, try clearing the cache before playing, you can do this by holding down the A button when loading the disc up, it must be done before the first screen of the game appears. i do it for mine on a regular basis

do you mean hold A before the xbox logo comes up, or the first screen of of fm?
the game plays a little quicker and when u start a new game u can sometimes have more than 10 leagues running at once which is rather useful. games like oblivion recommend u do this as there is lots of loading and uses the hdd as a memory cache
