I've just started my second season with Crystal Palace who I happened to get promoted to the Premiership via a very exciting playoff final. In the close season I offered and took the Australian national job too so I now manage two sides.

As I go to start the second season, the game keeps freezing and there is nothing I can do to get it working again. It freezes at different points but all within a week (game days) of starting the game from my save. After a while I couldn't even get the disc to boot up properly, it would freeze on the load up screen.

The solution I found in the end was to delete the Football Manager Settings file from the hard drive, once I did this the game seems to be working perfectly again. Has anyone had this, it perplexed me for a couple of hours.

It never happened to me yet but a bunch of people have been complaining about saving/loading issues on the forums.

The same thing has happened to me only just recently. My 360 makes a quick buzzing noise and the game freezes. So i will try to do what you have done and delete the settings.

I just got the same bug you are describing in this thread and tried what you did but it doesn't work... I've also tried to advance a day and then save again under a different name and re-load from this save yet I still get the same bug... it sucks...
Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Sort of out of context but I didn't know you could manage club and country.
