I got reading and got them promoted 4th season to premiership.
I got Cardenas (obv.)
Alex Rhodes from Brentford. Cost me £35K... now worth £2.4m in EPL about 5 seasons later.
Ishmael Miller from Man City reserves. On free transfer was clubs top scorer and player of the season.
If you want a decent on-loan keeper i can reccomend Joe Harvey from M'boro U18's. He has very very good stats for an U18... better than my reserve keepers anyway. You can get him on a season long loan but they dont like to sell him.
Jimmy Smith, Chelsea Reserves/U18's. Good distribution and hits some great shots (got goal of the season for 35 yarder). Free transfer.
Shane Long, Reading U18's. One of my key players, dunno how much he costs cos I had him to start with.
Owen Garven, similar stats to Cardenas, cost me £1.6m (valued at about £1.4m i think), from Cardiff although I believe he started off at Ipswich Town.
By the way... a little tip for promotion. Get Rhys Williams, David Wheater (both M'boro reserves) and Jon Stead (Sunderland or M City reserves) on free transfers before you get promoted. Then their value shoots up and you can sell them on for good transfer money (Williams £1m, Wheater 800k, Stead £1.4m)
Plus I got a young lad from Coventry youth called Rikki Bains (Indian but permit is no problems), cost me £45 now worth £950,000 and a key player for me, he is pretty decent.
