I used to do this but it can backfire - if they are really up for moving to ur club they will go out and instead of being unsettled, wants to really go out and impress you, and what better stage than against ur team!
oh and if ur rich enough, dump him to the reserves and fine him until hes sold! id say if the bids die off may be worth trying to keep him, but knowing this version of FM the bids are relentless so is unlikely

so i played on last night and my striker although still unhappy and wanting to leave my team but he has started to score goals again and is getting good ratings his ave rating is
around 7.6 so i think ill make him stick out his contract and hope that he becomes happy to stay again unless he becomes totally useless and goes on a long goal drought

i hope it doesnt, but he is quality im hoping if i qualify for uefa or champs league he may change his mind and want to stay we will have to see only got bout 12 league games left this season and im currently 3rd in league so this may change his mind
the players name is federico laurito he is argentinian and is only 17 or 18 at the most when the game starts and becomes a wonder kid i was recomended to buy him from the young players forum he has 19-20 for heading and his finishing is 18 as well as good work rate, team work, pace acceleration etc this lad is mint i am currently playing as man city and everyone is coming in from him from barcelona to portsmouth and i mean everyone
