There have been plenty of grumbles on this forum and we all have ideas that might improve the next version of the game. I'd like this thread to contain constructive ideas and fixes to improve on the FM07 experience. SI will hopefully check in from time to time and hopefully some of the ideas will become reality.

Idea

To avoid playing a non-GK in the GK position, can a warning appear onscreen before you select your final starting 11?

how about a facility to arrange meetings with the agents/reprasentatives of a player without the clubs permission (ie agreeing a fee) - RL clubs tap players up all the time and also after the panorama programme maybe the facility to buy an agent to make personal gain? could then open up another game mode - achievement points for personal fortune, which would make contract negotiations with ur own club and others much more meaningful

a sensible idea i think would be to have a more in depth training schedule. instead of increasing intensity for each option, why not have time and days and allocate activities for the players to take part in, this way you know you can have the training schedules varied because it could differ every week or month.

That would definitely be the best improvement EVER!

How about not having the same team make you the same offer for the same player ten times in a month this is just plain ridiculous.
I have about 8-10 players that Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Milan... want to buy and they come up with an offer that I refuse and come back 2 days later with the exact same offer... what's the point of that besides wasting human players' time? If I don't want to sell a player at a given price on Tuesday I don't see why on Thursday I'd agree to it the offer should either increase or they should not bid again for a little bit.

It is annoying - if you play as Arsenal then expect about a dozen bids for Toure and Eboue within the first week.

I think EVERYONE agrees that patches and downloads are essential for FM08!
