I would like to see a news function where you can give reasons for selling a big player (like when a player says he wants to talk to another club, so you accept an offer for him then your fans go mad when you sell him!)

It would be nice to be able to tell the fans/media you didnt want to sell him but the player wanted to move.

How about having new rivalries in the game?
If for instance a team close from yours gets promoted to your division or if in Europe you play against the same team year after year this team should become at least an "Other Rival" and maybe you could build up the rivalry (by talking trash on the other manager for instance, or media, players...) for it to become a "Fears Rivalry".

How about having new rivalries in the game?
If for instance a team close from yours gets promoted to your division or if in Europe you play against the same team year after year this team should become at least an "Other Rival" and maybe you could build up the rivalry (by talking trash on the other manager for instance, or media, players...) for it to become a "Fears Rivalry".

This is good - Take the Chelsea vs Barce rivalry that's developed over the last 3 years - their is now genuine needle there.

What about the option of background leagues like in the PC version where the background leagues are simulated in less detail and you can't manage in them? I think it brings a degree of depth to the game world with little effect on performance.

I would like that too but I'm guessing the xbox 360 just cannot support too much information since we can have only 10 leagues at a time and a small DB... hopefully we will have more options next year.
