And another thing. I try to sign a player who is out of contract from his club (Ian Kelly - Rushden) and is refusing to sign another one. He agrees one with my team but then I have to pay Rushden £120,000 in compensation! WTF!?
On my news though its telling me that the player has been rejecting all the new contract offers made to him by his club, so how is he still under contract?!
check how long he has left if you scoutt the player if will tell you all the info
and how long you have to wait to be able to buy him or offer him a contract
you will pay compensation for 2 resons, one if he is under 24 and the second is that if hes been offered a deal of equal or greater terms, u shud really learn to read the information on screen, its there when you offer he player a contract
The way around this (if the player's actual value is £0), is to put in a normal bid instead of using 'approach to sign'. That way you get the player for £0 if the bid is accepted.
This would of course only be relevant if you're playing at a low standard of league/club.
