So, from a customer point of view...another let down console version of FM. Apart from the PSP releases, which have been fantastic, the "home" console version of FM came to 360 with huge promise and potential, but has been such a dissapointment
From the savegame issue, to lack of downloadable content and not any originality in game itself that makes it worth buying over the PC version i must say i feel let down.
The Xbox Live mode on the 360 has so much potential and would be absoluty fantastic.....if only people played it and went online, because people dont makes the feature pretty worthless when comparing it to the PC version
The on-going save game problem ,which has become abit of a farce. after shelling out £40 to play the game, people find it just doesnt save, well it does, but then gets corrupt or whatever, anyway the lack of word from SI on the matter or ungency is annoying, i know its such a random issue, but it cant be a top prority in the office is they still havent, after 6months of being out...nothings been done
theve got a demo apprently that can be released and got the thumbs up from microsoft....but wont release it till they get the save game issue...i say get it out before FM2008 comes.....maybe now?
so heres my wishlist of what i want in the new game.
Challenge Mode
Involves being set seniorios that you have to complete to test your skill as maanger. By completing them, you can get acheivement points, maybe appealing to the casual gamer, who isnt looking to get in depth and bogged down in the game, you could download extra challenge packs, again making the game last longer and intresting
Xbox Live Compatible with PC Users
Now, this for me would really be a clincher for any PC owner that is on the fence about which format to go with
If PC and 360 had the same "online modes" then they could play eachother over the net.
I think if both people could play together then the amount of people who used the feature on both formats would hugely increase, as you could pop on most times, and play a one off match with your legendary 2019 team,
multi format online is possible, pro evo did it with PC and PS2 users, and shadowrun has done it with PC and 360 users, it would be a great idea that id love
More Content
Simple one really. More downloadable content from xbox live, skins, facepacks, themes, picture packs, badges, updates whatever. i know there are lisensing issues, but like ive said in the past, gain permission from the community and use a popular skin and give it a SI verification, alter/change it and upload it
This gives the game more longativity, because strangly enough changing the skin can get someone to give the game another go or keep playing it, making it feel new
Make It Unique
When im paying more for the 360 version over the PC version, i want it to be different, better, unique. So if you want to have the cool new 360 only features , you have to buy it on 360, just like the psp version (which is unique and different for a differnt audience) the 360 version should be the same, but for a console market and more advanced because of the hardware (after all you only designing it for one piece of hardware, and not the 50million gazzilion pc specifications) your all very clever and intelligent at SI and i bet you have ideas
these aer just some of my views, for in my opinion a very promising format, if done correctly, and more effort was put in
please add what you want

i say dont bother with the 2007 demo, way to loate for it now. the seasons gone and done. i say do what bungie did with halo3, do a beta, get so many of us to test it over live or woteva, we provide feedback, and you know we are good at doing that. then you came make any improvements that is needed before release

Nice idea Jimmy, but it's never gonna happen. If SI can't squeeze through a bog-standard demo, they're never going to manage a full-scale beta
I'm yet to see any compelling reason to invest in FM08. Major bugs carrying over between versions + zero support + less customization than the PC version + twice as expensive = :thdn:
