I am manager of York city with absolutely zero transfer funds! How do I get rid (for money) of players i no longer need?

Btw, 1st time I've ever player this game after years of wondering what all the fuss was about. Both my Brothers are huge fans.....now my girlfriend is about to leave me!

It's very hard to sell players on this version of the game... a patch has been released for PC users but not for us 360 users... it might not even come out until FM 2008 comes out which tbh we (360 FM07 owners) should get for free considering that we paid for something we never received we should get the next release for free.

I've found the best way to sell players is to play them regularly for a while, to get them on club's radars.

You still may have to settle for 1/2 of their 'value'.

But yes, generally it is a pain.

Cheers lads, just been looking at past posts and just realised that selling players is about as easy as finding snow in the Sahara.

Sold my best defender (Hollingsworth for 65k) the season i got promoted but only received 20% back from the board . Stingy gits

The only players I seem to be able to sell are my good young 1's; and then i have to accept half the amount they're worth .

quick sales dont usually pay too well.

leave them listed for half a year and you'll get a much higher price

I tranfer list them and put not nedded by club
some the offers come rolling in for them

u could try offering to clubs that normaly works also take notice of Wanted then u can offer them to the club for a fair price
