Not good. Bought a qu-al-i-ty striker for a good price who's turned into the next Wayne Rooney on my ass.
However, I only signed him to a one year contract whcih runs out in a few monthes and his agent is saying the player is not willing to sign a new one 'at this time'.
Also, there are some Prem clubs sniffing around him like a dogs on heat and have already rejected two offers.
Really don't want to lose him on a free so I've panicked and placed him on the transfer market at x2 his value!
Anyone got any ideas how I can get him to sign pls?
Oh how ironic. After I compared him to the new Wayne Rooney yesterday, Man Utd declared last night that they 'are looking to replace the aging Wayne Rooney' and that my player (Thomas Brown) was top of their wish list!!
There are now only Three months left on his contract (he still won't sign another one) and he's said he would be very intrested in joining Man U in the near future, but no offer from them has been forth-coming!!
What is going to happen now? Will I lose him on a free? I really want to keep the lad, but I can't compete with Scumchester (i'm only little York City)!!!
