I did have one other screwup. I had a backup keeper who was crying about 1st team football constantly. I playing him one game and he got a 6 and lost so I decided to ship him out and get another, quieter backup. I got 3 mil for him which was a big discount. I just wanted him to go away.
Fast forward four years. My keepers are getting old and I need a keeper. I'm at Liverpool still and have about 40 million left in the transfer budget. I look for the very best keeper money can buy and who the heck do I see at the top of the list? My old pal I sold, now the star keeper for Real Madrid. I ended up biting the bullet and buying him back for 20 million.
Oh well, I'm surprised he even agreed to come back to England and play for my team. He did play pretty well though once he came back.

it certainly is! it is strange tho the amount of times a "quality signing" that you just cant get the best out of, a computer manager gets them for cheap and turns them into a superstar and realises their potential on the pitch and in theyre bank one sold on!

i played Barcelona in the European cup semi final second leg and was 4-0 up half time, so i decided to sub 3 players who where on yellow cards, barcelona go and score 3 in the first 10 mimutes of the second half and 1 in the last minute, they then go on the beat me in extra time

i sold stewart downing to real madrd for 12 million and the next day miroslav klose handed in a transfer request along with van der sar and 3 more of my first team players who ar enow refusing to play for me leaving me to start with guisepe rossi up front!

I don't know if it's as bad as half the stuff I've read on here, but most the players I've bought always arrive injured.
Jinxed I tells ya £30m+ on Tevez and £12 on babel and they ain't yet played a game.

when i was luton in the premiership and i declared my interest in Real Madrid. The board asked me to step down so i left and went to spain for a year. Absolute pain because you can only register 3 non EU players to play for you in spain. So i resigned lol.
