In my game I got Adu in the first season for free but he still has no workpermit and might have to sell him as he won't be loaned to anyone.
For longterm success buy Nicolas Milan. You'll have to wait a season or two before you can sign him to a pro contract and he might need to be loaned out after this to get a work permit but he'll come good.
