So i come home from school and put my disc in my xbox, it all seems fine then it gets start on the press start screen

So i then get it out clean it, make sure no major cracks or scratchs are on the disc which there werent, put back in and it still doesnt work

I then think it could be something to do with the xbox controller, so i try 4 different controllers, still didnt work

I then think something might be wrong with the xbox, so i player 6 different games and made sure the start button worked on them, which it did

I then double check for any scratches or anything, and there isnt any, only a dozen or so of little ones that happens to every game because of the xbox.

Anyone got any other reasons why its broke?

Oh and it doesnt crash, as i can press the xbox button and it comes up, just cant get on the next screen, and my disc seems fine.

it did that on my brothers profile but not on mine so i deleted all his files then it worked for him he must have had something corrupt on there or something.

thanks, turned out all i had to do was log out my profile then log back in once i pressed start and worked fine.

I had this problem so now I don't log in on my profile until I have already pressed start, works fine on my brothers profile though =@
