Default Newbie needs help with training

Hi mate,
I have just started playing FM07 the first time ever and I need to admit its addictive

However, I am completly confused with the trianing. I have only 2 schedules which are general and goalies. My players dont seem to improve at all. How do I create new schedules? I found the option to assign players to certain schedules though.

Is it worth having a couple of coaches to train better??

Would really appriciate ur advice and help.

Thank you
Markus

go to the coaches session, this will show you how strong your coaching is in each area...organise your coaches so that you have the most possible stars.

also i think you should create a schedule for each position. that way they can improve the attributes important to them. go to the drop down box and click new schedule (i think, havent got FM infront of me)

Cheers mate,

another question: Can I have more than 3 coaches? My current coaches can produce 3-4 stars in a single department. But I have only 3 coaches, so that wouldnt really work... but I guess I would need to get better coaches as they can spread more stars, can they?

Depends on what the board will allow you. I'm AC Milan and Berlusconi has allowed me to have no more than 10 coaches in total. If you are a smaller team, you might be at the maximum you are allowed.

Yeah, started unemployed and got my first job and signed for Airdrie Utd

They only allow 3... Ok, I see. Think I need to change them and get a t least a couple of better ones.

I will try and play about a bit and maybe start of new afetrwards
