You need to ensure that once the game has saved you are back in control and can navigate around the screen before going back to dashboard or switching the console off.

On some rare occasions the save dialog disappears too quickly and it may seem as if the game has saved but it has not. The corruption is caused by exiting the game while it is still saving the data.

If you wait until you can navigate around again then you should not suffer from this problem.

Great, I've just lost a career that has seen me win Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010 with England, get my old West Ham job back, begin building a championship winning squad, get the Holland job and more become corrupt.

this happened to me aswell. when you save your game move the analog stick when it has finished saving becasue it doesn't stop saving until you do this. it works for me

poor game probably the worst ive ever played. You shouldnt need to move the analogue stick around at all after saving. what a heap of junk of a game.

Lol Who the heck's rattled your cage? Granted you shouldn't have to, but I'm sure the problem will be fixed for the next version, and if you follow the instructions given, apocalypse shall be averted. I've not had a corrupt save file since I read this 'fix'. It certainly doesn't make the game the worst game ever, I'm much more likely to go in the opposite train of thought to be honest. A niggle in an otherwise excellent game, thanks SI, I'm waiting impatiently for more news on FM '07.

When you guys say it won't load and save, how does this stop it from you reloading it to it previous state, a little message comes up in the middle of the screen for me saying game cannot save/load, it's not fair i'm gonna cry now.
