Patch 8.01 or 2nd Beta Patch, which in your opinion is better?
I'm happier with the finances on the 8.01 patch and player stats seem to be a bit better for those players that were undervalued before.
Beta Patch though, better match engine (although that may be because my tactics don't work with 8.01!), easier to offload players, slightly better flick-on's at corners and more decent coaches and scouts to choose from.
Is your preferance 8.01 or the Beta?

8.01, better and more realistic match engine, hence you finally can play decently with an attacking formation instead of counter-attack/catanacio tactics.

8.01 for me. Finally managed to get consistent performances by sorting out my tactics, and am able to keep clean sheets, could never do that before. just feel like I'm making a real difference in matches now, and that's the biggest part of the game for me, I can forgive the odd little thing elsewhere in the game as long as the match engine and tactics work OK.

As ****ed as its made me being much harder, yes 8.01 is better. Dis reguarding rants about my lack of scoring abilty. But holy crap do the games look awesome. And I'm getting better. Still havent had a good dominant game though. All pretty close. Just went into new season as I p[atched a save,so plenty of new things should improve now apparantly. :thup:

Games look awesome indeed...AI is improved and there seems to be some new dribbles etc, it's pretty amazing how they can be made look like dribbling as good as that with simple 2d graphics.
official patch all the way, it makes the game truly great and best FM ever.
