just actually realised that, that was extremely useless, sorry dude i dont know. have you tried clicking on preferences and trying from ther?

Yeh i have unticked 'full screen' in preferences but it doesnt seem to work, on 07 i had to put in small windowed on properties or something?

Anyone know how to do it for 08

To run FM in windowed mode:

* make sure your screen resolution is 1024*768
* right click then on the FM link on your desktop
* then click properties
* in the target box write this "CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\fm2005.exe" -windowed -small_screen
* apply the new settings
* start the game
* go the game options
* click the option to play in the windowed mode

Cheers mate but it doesnt work, an error message comes up when i apply the new target.

Any help?
