Anyway to answer your question, it is fixed with the patch and occurs if you alter player instructions during a match or something

In a game i was playing it was kick off in a league 2 match (like 2nd one of the season) and the keeper kicked off for them and ran back to his net :S can't remember who it was though

I've had my keeper (slightly attacking team mentality, not told to go up for corners and completely defensive individual mentality)go up for a corner in the 30th minute at nil-nil, the same keeper was 'in no hurry to take this kick' 5 minutes later despite me ALWAYS setting time wasting to lowest. Theres no precedent in real life that I know of and the game was hardly 'must win' so i think it was a bug but that was the out of the box version (8.0.0).

This has been a bug for over 2 years now. For some people (always me ) when you substitute a striker, sometimes the goalie's instructions default to an attacking outfield player. You'd have to remember to check his settings after every substitution before clicking confirm - a very irritating bug indeed.

I notice that in the fix list for the official 8.0.1 patch this has FINALLY been addressed. I can only hope it really has.
