Default England qualification for Euro 2008

Has anyone found a way to manipulate results so that England lose their last two qualifiers and not qualifier for the Finals?

Getting rid of MacClaren is easy - just add a manager - take over England and then resign the same day.

The only thing I can come up with regarding results would be to set all 3 keepers in the squad to 1 CA just for the match day using FMM

Any other ideas?

I understand your reaosns for doing this but thats just the difference between the game and real life, there are many permutations. If say Arsenal won the league in real life and you were playing as Man Utd top of the table by 2 points with one game to go would you throw the game so it is just like real life?

Make McLaren's manegerial stats terrible, CA 1 PA 1 Taactical knowledge 1 Man management 1, motivating 1, etc.

Then they won't qualify and he'll be sacked.

An unkind man would say that you were making the game more accuate anyway.

Not me though, I'd never be that cruel.

If you're not averse to adding a new manager to England why don't you just manage them yourself for those 2 games and make sure you lose them both?

English teams have always been over-rated in FM! Arsenal are in the Champions league final pretty much every season in my FM07 game...I punched the air in delight when Real Madrid held them 0-0 at The Emirates in a QF 1st leg, then punched my settee in rage when Arsenal won 2-4 in Madrid :p

a little bit irrelevant when you consider how many arsenal players are in the england squad....

Still the same England over-rated effect though - far more so in fact. The English league has always been over-rated, wherever the actual England players come from.
