I've often seen managers sacked after poor performances in tournaments, but it stands to reason that you should be sacked just as easily (or perhaps more easily) for not qualifying for those tournaments.

Can't you simply manage England in those games. Then you can make them lose and after the Quals are over, you can retire.

In my game England never qualified for 2008 either, however McClaren did keep his job.

I'm now in Nov 2013 and he is still there!!!!

England came 3rg in 2010 WC and WON the 2012 Euros, beating Ukraine in the final

You don't need to change stats, just save the game a few hours before the kick-off, and keep re-loading until England lose the game. Repeat for the second fixture.

it would be realistic to decrease CA/PA of all English players by 30, an easier approach would be to use fmm and make their fitness level 1 , 2nd half would be fun.
