Default Photoshop elements 3 and CS

My husband recently won a new version of Photoshop Elements 3. We both are running CS, I was just wondering if anyone had any insight if it was worth opening the box and installing it or selling it. Is there was anything different in Elements 3? Mos tof our work evolves around photography in CS, if that helps any.

Thanks!

Elements lacks a lot of things that Photoshop has, but also adds a few minor things that Photoshop is missing (by default), but I can't remember anything that can't be done by any intermediate/experienced Photoshop user.

I think Photoshop Elements is really good program, even with the limitations.

I do think Photoshop Elements 3 interface is really slow if you ask me, most noticable on slower computers, at least a lot slower than Photoshop.

hiya boyd!

That's what I was leaning towards doing, I was just wondering if anyone had a good argument for me *not* to since I'm not familiar with Elements.

Thanksgiving was wonderful, thanks for asking! We got our first snowfall this weekend. I love snow, so thats a good thing.
