I know this was in this patch, but I think they still need to be toned down. I'm being dominated in the first round of every cup competition I draw due to amazing grey teams that are completely amateur and at least 2 levels down below me. After the cup game I continue to go on being successful in my league.
It's a bit annoying because I need income from home games as much as possible and that means cup games. It's not even as if they play great, it's more along the lines that my team can't get a shot off against them, maybe it's their defense that needs tweaking. I have no problem scoring against league opponents the week after. It's happening year after year, and now I just do no pressure team talks because I know I'll lose and there's no point taking a morale hit.
Can SI please tone down the grey teams again?
