why does everyone want to complain all the time about the patch..
we have got rid of the disallowed goals.. got rid of the closing down problem... and my most hated the morale bug in the beta patch.. this new patch is awesome..
people are complaining about things from selling people to red cards... just cop wat the patch has to offer play ur game like a real manager and enjoy success if not resign and apply for another job.. not very hard...
anyone agree??

We are complaining about the patch (and the game) because it still highly unrealistic and unplayable in the most fundamental parts. If you are blind or a fanboy (maybe both) go play your little game and leave the rest of us who want what we were promised (AND ARE WAITING SO MANY MONTHS) to fight for it.
I've not played the game yet, pre-patched or otherwise, so I don't know what I expect from football manager 2008. I do, however, discard the rantings of the majority of people here, whining about losing, moaning about the game being too easy, bitching about not being able to score, raving about being able to score too freed, blah di blah fricking blah!
If I were anyone else reading this I would be absolutely scared witless about playing FM08.
But I'm not anyone else, I'm me. The opinions of the negative majority here aren't important enough to entertain.
When I get around to playing Football Manager I'll do it with a clear mind with no pre-conceived ideas about any aspects of the workings of the game.

You'll still get 30 shots, 15 on target and score one goal with your rooney striker though. But that won't trouble you because you will have an open mind. Keep up the good work mate.
