I was really struggling at first and blamed the AI. Then I watched game after game and they look more like football than any other version. I'm loving it, sure the inability of strikers to finish is driving me crazy. But i went to a 4-5-1 and now am smashing all in sight. Control six teams now with onl;y one not really reaching potential. I would say they have done a fanrtastic job. Scores feel realistic just wish I didnt have to see all the easy misses watching extended highlights. Well done you have my vote.

I have still not started to play 2008 as I'm waiting on my new pc to arrive so I can start one on that but is it still really bad even with the patch because I'm begining to think I may as well continue 2007 if that's the case and wait for next years game to come out and hope that's a vast improvement ??

Aye, why should people complain as the game is just totally playable now. Unless half your team happen to be ineligible, then they're left with little option but to quit.

Im playing FM08 with the patch quite happily.

The main issue with large amounts of shots hasnt happened to me and I believe that problem affects a way of playing thats different to mine so I dont see it.

Great. As you long as you are playing a tactic that the game wants, you'll all be fine. Try to bring one more attacker though to the fray and bam! everything becomes broken.

What is wrong with you people? The amounts of shots/goal ratio is ridiculously unrealistic and almost ruins the game. Yet you seem to let everything go and accept this...

I'm happy sticking to FM07 anyway. Not a single one of the enhancements of FM08 has the right to call itself a feature imho. Someone else made a good analogy about the very same cake with just one cherry more on top.

A mate of mine has it and keeps on telling me that he still hasn't noticed any major difference between the games.
